Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's West Penn Hospital is seeking an RN for its Progressive Care Float Pool. This role covers multiple areas with varied patient acuity, including heart failure, digestive disorders, sepsis, oncology and pulmonary edema.

The RN provides professional nursing care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, with a mandate to uphold patient safety and high-quality outcomes. A $7/hour allowance is included under the West Penn CBA.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Experience in float pools and cross-unit coverage is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure patient safety.
