Job summary

Allegheny Health Network, part of Highmark Health, seeks an RN for the Float Pool in Pittsburgh. The role covers progressive care units with varying acuity, including PCU and related areas, delivering comprehensive nursing care across shifts.

As a highly skilled professional, the RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and mentor staff. A $7/hour allowance under the West Penn CBA is provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or multistate license.
• Experience in progressive care or float pool preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination.
• Maintain safety and quality in patient care.
• Document care and monitor patient response to treatment.
