West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, is seeking an RN Float Pool PRN to support patient care across nursing units as needed. The role requires ensuring safe, effective patient care and coordinating with unit teams to meet care plans.

The ideal candidate will hold an Idaho RN license (compact accepted) with an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) and relevant acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and NVCI certifications are expected or obtained within stated

Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN License (Compact accepted; license must be obtained within 90 days).
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to Float Pool to fill in for ill calls and high census.
• Float to all nursing units where competencies have been completed.
• Evaluate and document patient responses to medications, interventions, and procedures.
• Coordinate individualized patient care plans and inform patient/family of plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and document safety measures in medical records.
• Collaborate with patient/family to develop care plans considering developmental and cultural differences.
• Act in a composed, professional manner under pressure.
