Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN license; compact license accepted, Idaho license must be obtained within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within 7 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• NRP and STABLE certifications required or obtained within respective timeframes.
• One or more years of acute care nursing experience, or at least 2 years of med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to all nursing units with completed competencies.
• Provide care on assigned units and document patient responses to interventions.
• Assess and coordinate individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Maintain patient safety and document safety measures in medical records.
• Collaborate with patients and families, respecting developmental and cultural needs.
