Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an RN for the Float Pool PRN. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, bedside assessments, and continuous improvement in care delivery.

The successful candidate will hold a Florida RN license (or multi-state license with Florida eligibility within 60 days), possess a BLS card within 30 days, and bring 2 years of acute care experience. BSN is preferred, with PRN flexible shifts to support our inpatient units.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required (or approved multistate license) with ability to obtain Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• Two years of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• ACLS current or required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient and family advocate while protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform nursing assessments and diagnoses to guide care planning.
• Provide plan-based care with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Support bedside care and bedside workflow across float pool assignments.
