Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Float Pool RN for 36 hours per week during night shifts. Nurses may receive a premium sign-on bonus of $10,000 for graduates and $13,000 for experienced nurses. Eligible units include ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, and Acute Rehab.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license for the hiring state and/or compact licensure, per state requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy Service Standards and organizational guidelines.
• Float Pool duties may include rotation to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab as experience allows.
