Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool on 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730). You will float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, delivering direct patient care in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff and leadership in patient care within a dynamic hospital setting. A New Hire Incentive of $7k is available for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice nursing.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Deliver direct care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress towards expected outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families.
• Leadership: Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team-oriented approach.

About the Role

As part of our site-based float pool (SBFP), you will have the chance to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experience while providing quality care.
