Job summary

Scripps Health in La Jolla seeks an ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse. The role provides critical inpatient care with flexible floater across ICU/PCU units, including nights and 12-hour shifts, at Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Scripps Green.

New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K apply. You will contribute to patient-centered care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a top-ranked health system.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float Pool – La Jolla
Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour night shifts
Location: Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Scripps Green

Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our acute care units at the Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Green and Scripps Encinitas hospitals. We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Float Pool Registered Nurses within ICU responsible for providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

This role requires you to float to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. Floating to PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology, MS and other areas will be required.
