Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• RN license is required; BLS required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and sociocultural domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
• Monitor infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
