Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking an RN to join a full-time day shift in a hospital setting. Eligible RNs can earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, development, and advancement criteria.

Sign-on bonuses and relocation support are available for qualifying candidates. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and coordinated care with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Organizational and multitasking abilities required.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Ability to work as a team within a unit.
• Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills and Windows navigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance at all times.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members to maintain quality care.
