Lexington Medical Center’s RN Float Pool delivers staffing across ED, Med-Surg, Post-Surgical, and CCU to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care. Float RNs adapt to department needs while upholding safety, teamwork and compassionate care.

As part of Advocate Health, you’ll provide coordinated care through the nursing process and rely on evidence‑based practice to support the patient experience. ACLS within 6 months and BLS are required; 2 years RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best experience across the continuum.
