Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, delivering and supervising patient care across Community Living Center, Medical/Surgical, Surgery, and Primary Care units.

The position requires an active RN license, English proficiency, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. EDRP eligibility is available; working conditions include varied shifts and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent.
• For bridge programs, eligibility to obtain state licensure may be required.
• Foreign education acceptable with proper validation.

Responsibilities

• Float between units: Community Living Center, Medical/Surgical, Surgery, or Primary Care.
• Provide and supervise nursing activities per policy and ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and procedures per established guidelines.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and support patient education.
