Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required.
• Registered nurse license in the United States.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies (ACEN/CCNE).
• State license upon completion or while in bridge programs allowed under VA rules.
• Foreign-trained nurses require degree equivalency validation and full active licensure.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required licensure.
• Must meet VA qualification standards and annual health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care across multiple units.
• Float between Community Living Center, Medical/Surgical, Surgery, and Primary Care.
• Administer medications and procedures per policies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient education initiatives.
• Provide leadership and supervision to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
• Support education, orientation, and competency assessment.
