Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking an RN to provide patient care across multiple units using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model. This PRN role offers 12-hour shifts, with 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM, and 8-hour evening options.

You’ll work in Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more, with flexible scheduling and unit variety. Minimum 1–2 years RN bedside experience, BSN preferred, and an active Missouri RN license are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate care with other departments across units.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Functions within nursing scope and Mercy Service Standards.
