Job summary

Mercy South is seeking an experienced RN to join the Float Pool in St. Louis, MO. This PRN role offers 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling and opportunities to work across multiple units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more.

Expect tiered hourly differentials plus additional shift bonuses. Requirements include 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), active RN license in Missouri, and BLS certification;Physical demands apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with multiple units to support staffing needs.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
