Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an RN Float to coordinate patient care within our nursing model. You will assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues while maintaining safety and quality across care transitions.

You will delegate interventions based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities, leveraging professional experience to improve outcomes. This position emphasizes continuous professional development and community service.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or have two years of relevant work experience.
• Main field of study in your education should be nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience is required.
• You need to be a registered nurse.
• Have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe place for patients, families, and staff and aid healing.
• Incorporate the diverse perspectives and requirements of patients into care plans.
• Patients, families, staff, and community will be educated continuously.
• Evaluate and record learning progress.
• Work with team to implement care plan and delegate tasks as needed.
• Solve problems efficiently, using resources effectively and acknowledging limitations.
