Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool, providing care across multiple departments on our main campus and sister facilities. You will coordinate, deliver, and assess nursing care, following established standards, policies, and procedures, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, compassionate communication, and teamwork to support timely patient care delivery in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

As part of the Float Pool, team members are expected to float to all departments within the main campus as well as our sister facilities. Assignments are based on individual experience, skill sets, and credentials to ensure the best fit and highest standard of care.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
