Job summary

Concord Hospital-Laconia is seeking experienced RNs to join our RN Float Team. The float team offers you the opportunity to use your diverse clinical skills and competencies in a variety of acute care settings.

This float team position will offer exposure to a variety of medical/ surgical or critical care units across the hospital and provide you with an opportunity to further develop your skill base. Education: BSN preferred; NH RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred, accredited school of nursing graduate.
• NH RN license and BLS required.
• One year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical judgment to plan and implement patient care.
• Gather data through history and assessment to guide interventions.
• Develop and revise care plans and document progress.
• Direct and supervise delegated nursing activities.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients for discharge or procedures as needed.
• Manage time and resources to deliver care.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team and serve as a preceptor.
