Boulder Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource Team (Float Pool) in Boulder, CO. This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with four 9-hour daytime shifts and 2–3 Saturday on-call shifts per quarter.

Resource Team RNs provide coverage across outpatient clinics, collaborating with multiple providers and clinical teams to support varied patient populations. This is an excellent way to build broad clinical experience in a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
• Ability to travel between BMC locations as needed.
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and work effectively with different clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Assess patient needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform nursing procedures within your scope of practice and applicable protocols.
• Collect specimens and perform laboratory testing according to established procedures.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Respond to urgent or unexpected clinical situations and obtain additional assistance when needed.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff across different specialties.
