Job summary

Boulder Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Resource Team in the Boulder County outpatient setting. You will provide nursing care and clinical support to patients, assist providers with examinations and procedures, and document care in the EMR.

The role includes 4x9-hour daytime shifts and occasional on-call Saturdays across multiple locations. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of outpatient experience and Colorado RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Colorado.
• Ability to travel between BMC locations as needed.
• Ability to work four 9-hour shifts Monday-Friday with occasional on-call Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical support in an outpatient setting.
• Assess patient needs and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice and protocols.
• Collect specimens and perform laboratory testing as applicable.

36 hours per week, worked as four 9-hour shifts, Monday-Friday during daytime hours, plus approximately 2-3 Saturday on-call shifts per quarter. You choose your Saturdays; if called in, the shift is 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients in an outpatient setting
• Assess patient needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Perform nursing procedures within your scope of practice and applicable protocols
• Collect specimens and perform laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms and maintain appropriate supplies and equipment
• Respond to urgent or unexpected clinical situations and obtain additional assistance when needed
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff across different specialties

Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
• Ability to work at BMC locations as assigned
• Ability to travel between BMC locations as needed
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and work effectively with different clinical teams

Preferred

• 1-2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in an outpatient clinic, medical office, or hospital setting

Locations

• Primary location: BMC Broadway at 2750 Broadway St., Boulder, CO 80304. Resource Team RNs may be assigned to BMC locations in Boulder, Louisville, Longmont, or Erie, based on staffing and operational needs.
• Important: This position requires the ability to travel between BMC locations as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting hourly pay range: $36.04-$45.06/hour, depending on experience.
