Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking an RN Float to coordinate patient care within our nursing model. You will assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues while maintaining patient safety during transitions.

You will delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities; professional presentation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or has 2 years of nursing experience.
• The main area of study is nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience is required.
• Must be a registered nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs and safety.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for outcomes.
• Create a safe environment for patients, families and staff.
