Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks an RN Float who coordinates patient care across units using our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, delegate tasks, and contribute to safe transitions and outcomes.

You will develop nursing care plans, educate patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with the team to meet patient needs. RN license required; BLS on hire or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited program in nursing or have two years of relevant work experience.
• The main area of study should be nursing.
• Two years of experience in nursing is required.
• You need to be a registered nurse
• Have basic life support (BLS) certification or get it within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe place for patients, families, and staff; help with emotional and physical pain to aid healing.
• Incorporate diverse perspectives into care plans.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and community continuously.
• Evaluate and record learning progress.
• Collaborate with team to implement care plans and delegate tasks as needed.
• Seek professional development opportunities and contribute to community service.
