HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Float Pool. You will deliver clinical expertise in a high-acuity environment and support patient care across units.

Requires Florida RN license (compact acceptable with FL endorsement within 60 days), Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS; ACLS/PALS ENPC/NIHSS/Critical Care certifications preferred or soon-to-be. No travel required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida RN or hold an appropriate compact license; active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• PALS and/or ENPC certifications preferred; required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification preferred; required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• CCRN or CEN certification preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, read/write instructions, PC skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
