Job summary

Concord Hospital in Laconia, NH is seeking experienced RNs to join our Float Team. This role offers exposure to a variety of medical/surgical and critical care units across the hospital, enabling you to apply diverse clinical skills and further develop your nursing expertise.

Qualified candidates will have NH RN licensure, Basic Life Support, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, care providers, and the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Base nursing actions using clinical judgment and organized thinking.
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment; plan and implement interventions.
• Develop, evaluate and revise care plans; document progress toward outcomes.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients to manage care after discharge or procedures.
• Manage time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team; serve as a resource on shift.
• Act as a preceptor for new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
