Job summary

Concord Hospital in Laconia, NH seeks an experienced RN for the Float Pool to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple practice settings. You’ll report to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager and work under the direction of practice providers, with Monday–Friday daytime shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) offering flexibility and variety.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation across life span, collaborating with the health care team to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/ AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities in organizing daily activities and maintains efficient patient flow.
• Triage patient calls and provide quality patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Provides patient education.
• Documents health information in the EMR.
• Delegates patient care using the five rights and provides feedback to staff.
• Applies the nursing process to make sound clinical judgments.
• Completes annual clinical skill competencies.
