Corewell Health in Fremont, MI is seeking a full-time Float Pool RN to cross-train across Med Surg, ICU, Emergency Departments, and OB. This role offers broad clinical exposure and a pay incentive for Float assignments.

You will deliver nursing care in line with the ANA nursing process, emphasize critical thinking, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Required qualifications include an Associate’s in Nursing, MI RN license (or must obtain within 5 years for a Bachelor's track), and BLS

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing expected within five years.
• Michigan RN license required (or must obtain within five years if pursuing BSN).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of start.

A Float position gives you the opportunity to cross train to Med Surg, ICU, Emergency Departments, and OB. Float offers an opportunity to learn a broader skill set and enhance your skills by working in these departments. There also is a pay incentive for working Float.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
