Aurora Health Care's Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Internal Float Pool. You will deliver patient care across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding, providing flexible coverage within a single facility.

The role requires a nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS, and 18+ months in Med/Surg or Telemetry. You will self-schedule and handle weekend shifts, contributing to high-quality, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• Minimum 18 months Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).
• Ability to self-schedule and cover 1 weekend shift per 6-week period.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork across care environments.

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units, potentially ICU with transfer orders.
• Provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care in fast-paced environments.
• Adapt to each unit’s workflow and support teams with professionalism.
• Demonstrate communication, sound decision-making, and leadership.
• Help ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
