Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in McKinney, TX seeks an RN Float to coordinate patient care within our nursing model. You will assess patients, plan personalized care, and delegate interventions to team members according to guidelines and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• 2-3 years of med/surg experience; float pool and step-down experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification or obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe place for patients, families, and staff; support emotional and physical healing.
• Educate patients, families, and staff continuously.
• Delegate tasks and collaborate with the team.
• Evaluate and record learning progress.
• Contribute to community service and ongoing professional development.
