Job summary

Allegheny General Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, is seeking an RN for float pool coverage in Med Surg/Tele. This part-time role supports rotating weekends/holidays with 32 hours every two weeks, and a Magnet-recognized system with care across specialties.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of acute care Med Surg/Tele experience, PA RN licensure or eNLC, CPR, ACLS, and required background clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience in Med Surg/Tele.
• PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Act 34/33/73 and FBI background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning.
• Provides safe, effective care for the patient population served.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
