Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Allegheny General Hospital seeks a registered nurse for the Per Diem Pool in Med Surg/Tele. This casual, part-time role requires 24 hours every two weeks with rotating weekends and holidays.

The nurse will provide skilled care across acuity levels, coordinating with the care team to support patient outcomes. Minimum qualifications include PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC), CPR and ACLS certifications, and foundational clinical assessment and care planning

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care nursing experience in Med Surg/Tele.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care for assigned age population.
• Perform clinical assessment, care planning and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement plan of care.
• Educate patients and families based on age and culture.
