Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PDP Team 2 Med Surg/Tele at Allegheny General Hospital. The role requires caring for a designated patient population using the nursing process, with duties across multiple areas as assigned by skill level.

The unit supports a Magnet-recognized hospital with a strong trauma center heritage. The nurse will mentor and precept other staff, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement the care plan from admission

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care nursing experience required in Med Surg/Tele.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designated patient population using the nursing process across assigned team.
• Provide care based on age-appropriate regulatory requirements and clinical standards.
• Direct and manages activities of the patient care delivery by team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for plan of care from admission through discharge.
