Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care in a long-term care setting. The role requires collaboration with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, assessing residents, educating families, and performing nursing interventions across all phases of care. PRN shift coverage may include travel to nearby locations within a 75-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure acceptable.
• Drug screen and pre-employment background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues and providers.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
