Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Good Samaritan network to provide high-quality nursing care in long-term care settings. You will perform assessments, plan and implement individualized care, and collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and the ability to travel within a 75-mile radius of the permanent address. A weekend shift is required and pay ranges from $32.00 to $48.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care, perform assessments, and educate residents.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks within scope of practice.
