Job summary

Umcelpaso seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care through the nursing process, coordinating care and collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes. You will apply established clinical standards while considering patient age and cultural diversity.

Required are Texas RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and NRP within six months; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; and at least one year of hospital acute care experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS training completed within six months of department start.
• NRP training completed within six months of department start.
• One year of experience as an RN in hospital-based acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on clinical standards.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Respect patient age and cultural diversity in care provision.
