Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate direct care to a specific patient population. You will work within an interdisciplinary team and coordinate care across nursing peers, physicians and support services to achieve patient outcomes.

Requirements include an associate degree in nursing or diploma, a BSN in progress within three years of hire, an active NJ RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least six months of nursing experience or participation

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing required.
• BSN in progress within 3 years of hire preferred or required.
• Active Registered Nurse license to work in NJ; BLS/CPR certification.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, teamwork, accountability, and patient focus.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate and oversee care provided by other caregivers when appropriate.
