Job summary

Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH is seeking a full-time RN Float/Clinical Supervisor for nights to oversee care across departments and support operational needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of evidence-based practices. ADN is required, BSN preferred, with Ohio RN licensure and several certifications expected or obtainable during orientation.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Valid State of Ohio RN licensure.
• 3-5 years of healthcare experience as an RN preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required and may be obtained during the orientation period.
• NIMS and NIHSS certifications are required and may be obtained within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge to provide safe, timely, effective, quality, age-appropriate care.
• Oversee hospital operations and patient care in the absence of Administration.
• Move throughout the facility, assisting in emergency drills and situations.
• Coordinate patient care as assigned, including assessment and data interpretation.
• Direct staff and support patient care.
• Communicate with unit staff, physicians, ancillary departments, and families.
