Job summary

Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH is seeking an experienced RN for Med/Surg/SCU units. The role supports safe, timely, and evidence-based care using the nursing process and patient-centered practices.

The RN will lead care planning, coordinate with the care team, and adapt to census-driven assignments while upholding hospital policies and accreditation standards. This is a night-shift opportunity with FT or PT options.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Valid State of Ohio RN Licensure is required.
• 1-3 years of RN experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required, may be obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Moves throughout the facility and assists in emergencies and routine care.
• Coordinates patient care and interprets care information.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians and ancillary departments.
• Maintains high standards for professional nursing practice.
• Supports and participates in PSP/family involvement in care.
