Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders; assesses discharge needs.
• Delivers individualized care addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural and age-related needs.
• Delegates care tasks to nursing staff to maximize patient outcomes.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds; contributes to outcomes.
