Job summary

St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated team. You will provide direct patient care, follow evidence-based practices, and coordinate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Connecticut RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/CVN valuable as applicable.
• Experience in cardiac, critical care, or medical-surgical units preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of multidisciplinary patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Delivers individualized care addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural and age-related needs.
