Qualifications

• Current RN license in Maryland or Multistate license.
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed.
• Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Follow all policies and procedures of the facility.
• Serve as charge nurses when assigned.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Demonstrate respect of resident rights and dignity.
