Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley in Beaver County, PA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit using the nursing process.

Under direction from the CNO/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, you will plan and coordinate patient care, participate in discharge planning, and educate patients and families for post-hospital recovery, with ACLS and BLS required for Charge Nurse duties.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state or compact license.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Charge Nurses must have ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and education for post-hospitalization.
• Collaborate with the care team and be prepared to perform Charge Nurse duties when assigned.
