Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Some positions require a valid driver's license.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Develops nursing diagnoses, plans, interventions, and coordinates care per MUSC policies.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with professional, respectful behavior.
• Participates in shared governance and promotes clinical excellence and accountability.
