Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care on the nursing unit under the direction of the Nursing leadership. The RN will utilize the nursing process to plan, direct and supervise care, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.

Requirements include RN licensure in-state or compact, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. ACLS is required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
