Job summary

University of California, Irvine Health is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant (RFNA) to join the perioperative team. The RFNA will work closely with surgeons and staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Candidates must hold a CA RN license and have completed an RNFA program, with the ability to operate under standardized procedures and manage complex cases in a fast-paced OR setting.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience as perioperative RN and RN First Assistant preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Completion of an RNFA program
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
