Bright Vision Technologies in Happy Valley, OR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support the surgical team across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. This onsite role requires strong sterile technique and teamwork with surgeons and nursing staff.

The position offers a Monday–Saturday schedule (6:45 AM–5:15 PM), with compensation in the $62.40–$88.11 hourly range. Kaiser Permanente OR experience and CNOR education are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN License.
• RNFA certification/program completion from an AORN-recognized program.
• Minimum 2 years of peri-operative scrubbing and circulating experience in a Kaiser Permanente OR, or 1 year of RNFA experience outside or within KP.
• Current BLS certification
• OR nursing experience with strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Must maintain required RN licensure and CNOR continuing education requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures
• Provide surgical exposure, tissue handling, suturing, hemostasis, and instrumentation support
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, draping, and transfer
• Support anesthesia during induction and participate in surgical time-outs
• Maintain sterile technique and monitor the surgical field
• Assist with room setup, turnover, equipment, and instrumentation
• Provide appropriate pre- and post-operative patient care and education
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, circulating nurses, scrub staff, and other clinical teams
• Participate in regional on-call rotation for elective, urgent, and emergent cases
