Fox Point Recruitment LLC is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) in Clackamas, OR, serving Happy Valley and surrounding areas. Schedule is Mon-Sat, 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM, with regional on-call rotation; compensation ranges from $62.40 to $88.11 per hour, no variable pay.

Visa sponsorship is not available. Ideal candidate holds CNOR, BLS, and an RN license in Oregon, with at least two years of perioperative scrubbing and one year as an RNFA.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion from an AORN-recognized RNFA program meeting AORN Recommended Education Standards and CB.PMN acceptance criteria.
• Active RN license in the State of Oregon.
• CNOR and BLS certifications required with ongoing CE credits to maintain licensure.
• Minimum two years perioperative scrubbing and circulating in an acute care OR.
• Minimum one year RNFA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intra-operative surgical assistance across specialties as directed by the surgeon.
• Perform advanced intra-operative techniques including tissue handling, hemostasis, suturing.
• Operate instruments and devices while maintaining sterile technique.
• Set up lights, ESU, suction and monitor sterile field items.
• Coordinate pre-op assessments and post-op evaluations for patients.
• Assist anesthesia during induction and ensure imaging is available in the suite.
• Collaborate with Circulating and Scrub staff to maximize OR efficiency.
• Maintain safety and comply with Oregon Nurse Practice Act throughout cases.
