Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team where expertise and teamwork matter. You will work side-by-side with surgeons to provide exceptional perioperative care, using advanced clinical skills to support patients before, during, and after surgery.

This is a full-time RNFA role requiring Missouri RN licensure, perioperative nursing experience, CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within one year,

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of perioperative nursing experience.
• Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. BLS/ACLS required within first year.
• Other: Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
