Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team. You will work side-by-side with surgeons to provide advanced perioperative care, supporting patients before, during, and after surgery.

This is a full-time RNFA role with a 40-hour work week, daytime shifts, in a fast-paced environment. A New Sign on Bonus of $10,000 is offered, and CNOR/RN‑First Assistant certification is expected within one year of hire.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum perioperative nursing experience.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant coursework within one year of hire.
• BLS/ACLS certification within first year.
• Demonstrates continued competence in perioperative nursing.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure:

Active RN licensure in the state of practice.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of perioperative nursing experience.

Certifications:

CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. BLS/ACLS required within first year.

Other:

Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing.

Preferred:

CNOR Certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
