Job summary

Genex Service LLC in Abilene, TX is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager to apply advanced case management skills for injured workers. You will interview clients, coordinate with providers, and help tailor treatment plans while coordinating with employers to facilitate safe return to work.

The role requires an RN license and 2+ years of clinical practice; URAC-certified case management prep is a plus. This full-time position involves travel and independent workload management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• 2+ years of clinical practice preferred.
• URAC-recognized case management certification preferred (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN or COHN, COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC).
• Travel to and attend in-person appointments within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Apply case management standards of practice using advanced knowledge of injuries, medications, comorbidities, and treatment options.
• Interview injured workers to assess recovery and determine occupational vs non-occupational factors.
• Collaborate with physicians to tailor and implement treatment plans.
• Assist employers and physicians to modify job duties to facilitate return to work.
• Independently manage workload and prioritize cases.
• Prepare status updates and complete duties as assigned.
