Job summary

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children, part of Hawaii Pacific Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Family Birth Center to deliver high-quality obstetric care. The role includes assessment, planning, and execution of patient care, supporting the charge nurse, and mentoring staff to ensure safety and excellent outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Qualifications

• Current Hawai‘i RN license is required.
• Current AHA BLS and NRP CPR cards are required.
• One year recent RN experience in high-risk labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care.
• Function as associate to a charge nurse and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.
• Support and educate patients and families to deliver high-quality care in Hawai‘i’s Family Birth Center.
